The North American copper scrap prices rose sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index as on August 25th, Tuesday.

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices rose sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index as on August 25th, Tuesday.

Alternator prices remained unchanged over the day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.04 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.04 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went higher by $ 0.04 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery and #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery went higher by $0.02 and $0.01 per Lb respectively from the previous day. The prices of #3 Copper-Light copper were up by $ 0.04 per Lb.

The prices of Cu Yokes, Copper Transformer Scrap and Cu/Al Radiator Ends remained unchanged on Aug 25th.

Copper Radiator prices were up by $0.01 per Lb at $1.45 per Lb.

The price of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe increased by $0.01 each.

Heater Cores prices rose by $0.01 per Lb. Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too appreciated by $0.01 per Lb.

Romex Wire prices moved higher by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.

Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units, and Xmas Lights witnessed no change in prices.
