Galvanized plate prices fell against soft demand and high inventories, despite the fact that output cut at some steel plants in North China gave some boost to steel prices, SMM says.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 24 (SMM) - Galvanized plate prices fell against soft demand and high inventories, despite the fact that output cut at some steel plants in North China gave some boost to steel prices, SMM says.

Anti-dumping probes imposed by Pakistan on Chinese galvanized products added to market pessimism, dampening demand, SMM adds.
