SHFE 1509 tin opened at RMB 107,980/mt on Friday.
SHANGHAI, Aug. 14 (SMM) –SHFE 1509 tin opened at RMB 107,980/mt on Friday. The metal hovered around RMB 107,660/mt for most of the day. Finally, it ended down RMB 720/mt or 0.55% at RMB 107,200/mt. Trading volumes were down 940 lots to 610 lots, and positions were down 18 lots to 1,458 lots. Impact of Chinese yuan depreciation on market sentiment is fading. Market attention has now shifted back to timing for US interest rate hike. SHFE 1509 tin should test support at RMB 107,000/mt tonight.
