SHANGHAI, Aug. 13 (SMM) – Anhui Huaxin Lead Industry Group announced to put its new furnace online in September, SMM learns.
The new furnace includes three production lines and two of them are under construction currently. Once operational, the new furnace will consume 800 tonnes of scrap batteries and lead waste per day. The company’s old furnace will be suspended since Sep. 1.
Capacity of 0.21 million-tpy secondary lead has been put into operation at Anhui Huabo Renewable Resources Technology. Besides, expansion projects in Anhui’s several companies, representing near 0.4 million-tpy secondary lead in capacity, are also under construction.
