SHFE 1509 tin opened at RMB 107,140/mt on Friday.
SHANGHAI, Aug. 7 (SMM) –SHFE 1509 tin opened at RMB 107,140/mt on Friday. The metal rose to RMB 108,080/mt due to exit of shorts, but immediately fell back to RMB 107,140/mt. Finally, it ended at RMB 107,410/mt. Trading volumes were down 672 lots to 810 lots, and positions were down 56 lots to 1,680 lots. US non-farm payrolls will be eyed tonight. The contract should find support at RMB 106,000/mt and meet resistance at RMB 109,000/mt tonight.
