SHFE 1509 nickel started Monday night session at RMB 80,350/mt and then broke down below RMB 80,000/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM) – SHFE 1509 nickel started Monday night session at RMB 80,350/mt and then broke down below RMB 80,000/mt. Later, the price dived to RMB 79,810/mt before closing at RMB 80,500/mt.

SHFE nickel opened at RMB 80,650/mt for day trading Tuesday and then ranged between RMB 80,000-80700/mt before finishing at RMB 81,100 /mt. Trading volumes fell 74,934 to 442,000 lots. Positions dropped 14,416 to 161,000. Positions of SHFE 1509 nickel slip gradually while positions of SHFE 1601 nickel grow.
