SHFE 1509 tin opened at RMB 108,030/mt on Tuesday.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM) –SHFE 1509 tin opened at RMB 108,030/mt on Tuesday. Exit of longs sent the contract down to RMB 107,500/mt. But prices then rebounded to RMB 108,770/mt on short-covering. Finally, it ended up RMB 30/mt at 108,750/mt. Trading volumes were down 110 lots to 1,578 lots, and positions were down 162 lots to 1,744 lots. Data on US factory orders for June will be released tonight. SHFE 1509 tin is expected to test support at RMB 107,000/mt during today’s night session.
