SHANGHAI, Jul. 30 (SMM) - An ultra-large zinc and lead mine was found in Hunan’s Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture and the exploration of the mine was completed recently, the ifeng.com reports.
The super-large zinc and lead mines is estimated to contain over 2 million tonnes of zinc and lead reserves. This project marks another stride following the exploration of the Danaopo lead and zinc mine in Hunan’s Huayuan County. The Danaopo lead and zinc mine’s lead and zinc reserves are estimated to be 4.70 million tonnes.
