[Zn Ore] MMG Zinc Concentrate Output Up 6% in H1 and 23% in Q2

MMG’s zinc concentrate output was 286,000 tonnes in the first half of 2015, up 6% year-on-year, and Q2 output increased 16% year-on-year and 23% month-on-month to 158,000 tonnes, SMM learned.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 30 (SMM) - MMG’s zinc concentrate output was 286,000 tonnes in the first half of 2015, up 6% year-on-year, and Q2 output increased 16% year-on-year and 23% month-on-month to 158,000 tonnes, SMM learned.

The growth in MMG’s zinc concentrate output in H1 is mainly contributed by the Rosebery mine. The Rosebery mine produced 49,000 tonnes of zinc concentrate in H1, up 40% year-on-year.

The company left its zinc concentrate production target for 2015 unchanged at 440,000-510,000 tonnes (zinc content) which excludes ores from Dugald River mine processed with Century mine’s facilities.
