[Scrap Price]French scrap prices drop slightly in July: FFA

As per the latest statistics provided by the French Steel Federation (FFA), the country’s scrap prices fell slightly during the month of July this year.

PARIS (Scrap Monster): As per the latest statistics provided by the French Steel Federation (FFA), the country’s scrap prices fell slightly during the month of July this year. This is in comparison with the scrap prices during the month before.

The price of busheling scrap declined by €10 per ton to touch €227 per ton.

Shredded scrap prices dropped sharply by €20 per ton to €221 per ton during this period when compared with June ‘15.

Also, prices of H2 scrap too dropped €16 per ton during the month to €202 per ton.

Meantime, the price of H1 scrap witnessed significant decline of €17 per ton from June ’15 levels to touch €219 per ton.
