[Zn Inventory] Zinc Inventories in Guangdong Grew for 8th Straight Week

Guangdong’s zinc inventories grew for the eighth straight week due to fewer outward shipments on shrank consumption, SMM reports.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 24 (SMM) - Guangdong’s zinc inventories grew for the eighth straight week due to fewer outward shipments on shrank consumption, SMM reports.

Zinc inventories in Shanghai also added this past week due to large inflows of imported zinc. Tianjin’s zinc stocks increased slightly, and are set to climb further next week.

Combined inventories in the three markets should rise next week amid anemic demand.

Total zinc inventories in Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangdong grew 11,400 to 271,600 tonnes this past week.
