SHANGHAI, Jul. 20 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at the six major Chinese ports grew to 10.68 million tonnes last week, up 20,000 tonnes or 0.19%, Shanghai Metals Market data show.
The Port of Lianyungang saw a significant increase in port inventories due to large new arrivals, according to SMM data.
Last week, eight ships carried nickel ore to these ports, and five ships are scheduled to arrive this week, SMM says.
