[NPI Output] China NPI Output to Drop in July, SMM Says

NPI output in China is expected to fall in July, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 14 (SMM) – NPI output in China is expected to fall in July, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.  

Unit maintenance and power line upgrading in Huade County in Inner Mongolia will combine to reduce July’s production, SMM says. 

NPI producers, with low inventories of ore, are expected to close for unit maintenance due to losses from sluggish prices, SMM explains.
