Shanghai Base Metals Price to Rise on Greece’s Deal

Base metals price on the SHFE is expected to rise across the board on Jul. 14, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 14 (SMM) – Base metals price on the SHFE is expected to rise across the board on Jul. 14, Shanghai Metals Market foresees. 

The rescue deal for Greece after tough talks is believed to improve market sentiment, SMM says, giving support to metals price. 

However, caution should be paid to risks from a rising dollar and oil price decline, SMM adds. 

Copper: 40,200-40,800 yuan per tonne

Aluminum: 12,430-12,500 yuan per tonne

Lead: 13,130-13,210 yuan per tonne

Zinc: 15,500-15,600 yuan per tonne

Tin: 107,000-111,000 yuan per tonne

Nickel: 84,500-86,000 yuan per tonne
