[Zn] 28% Galvanizers Optimistic toward the Market, SMM Survey

28% of China’s galvanizers are bullish toward the market, SMM finds in its latest survey.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 13 (SMM) - 28% of China’s galvanizers are bullish toward the market, SMM finds in its latest survey. These galvanizers believe a series of stimulus measures will show some results, which will boost orders of galvanized structural parts.

29% do not think the market is promising. They expect export orders to fall due to the off-season in Europe and the US. Besides, some export-oriented galvanizers in India turned to home sales, also reducing demand for China’s products.

These that are uncertain toward the market rise 4 percentage points to 43% of the total, due to wild zinc price volatility.
