Fengfan Reports 36.87% Rise in H1 Profit as Battery Sales Surge

China’s large battery maker Fengfan Co. registered a 36.87% year-on-year rise in profit in the first half of 2015 as its battery sales shot up.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 13 (SMM) – China’s large battery maker Fengfan Co. registered a 36.87% year-on-year rise in profit in the first half of 2015 as its battery sales shot up, the company said in a statement filed to Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The company made a profit of 99.76 million yuan ($16.82 million) in the first half, and its operating income climbed 48.08% to 124.27 million yuan, thanks to sharp increase in its battery sales, particularly automobile batteries.
