Japanese H2 scrap average prices shed gains

The average price of Japanese H2 scrap dropped during the first week of July this year.

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap dropped during the first week of July this year. The H2 scrap average prices had declined during the week prior to this after rising continuously for five weeks before that.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 23,598/ton during the first week of July. The prices edged lower by ¥ 395/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 23,993/ton during the fifth week of June.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 24,000/ton. The average price in Kanto region dropped by ¥ 833/ton when compared with the previous week.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 22,220/ton. The average prices in the region dropped by ¥ 100/ton when compared with the week before.

The H2 scrap average prices dropped substantially in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the first week of July was ¥ 24,575/ton, dropping by ¥ 250/ton when compared with the previous week.
