[Zn Ore] Zinc Mines Hold Back Concentrate on Losses

SHANGHAI, Jul. 10 (SMM) - Some domestic zinc mines with high costs have been reluctant to sell recently due mainly to losses from plunging zinc prices, SMM finds.
"Recently slump in zinc prices have grown mines’ unwillingness to move goods”, SMM zinc analyst learned. Sichuan’s Huidong Daliang Mining chose to undertake maintenance now that it had completed mid-year output target. The company is recently running trial production for build-out.
