SHANGHAI, Jul. 9 (SMM) –Cote d'Ivoire replaced Malaysia to become China’s third largest manganese ore supplier in May, next only to South African and Australia.
However, import volumes of Cote d'Ivoire ore were considered small in relation to imports from South African and Australia. Low mining activity and long distance curtailed shipment to China.
The table below shows details of China’s manganese ore imports from Cote d'Ivoire.
