SHFE Nickel is Shut at Daily Downward Limit Price for All Day (Jul. 8, 2015)

SHFE 1509 nickel opened at RMB 82,400/mt during Tuesday evening session and them dropped to daily limit, to finish at RMB 81,630/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 8 (SMM) – SHFE 1509 nickel opened at RMB 82,400/mt during Tuesday evening session and them dropped to daily limit, to finish at RMB 81,630/mt.

On Wednesday, the contract was closed for all day at daily downward limit price of RMB 81,630/mt, down 5%. Trading volumes were only 25,018 lots with positions down 4,670 to 190,228.

SHFE 1509 nickel should continue to fall this evening due to growing possibility of a Greek exit.
