SHANGHAI, Jul. 6 (SMM) –Spot aluminum largely traded between RMB 12,400-12,410/mt in Shanghai on Monday, discounts of RMB 80-100/mt over SHFE 1507 aluminum contract, versus RMB 12,400-12,410/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 12,420-12,430/mt in Hangzhou. Spot prices followed SHFE aluminum down sharply, but sellers did not panic. Downstream producers bought only to need, while traders were cautious about buying.
