SHANGHAI, Jun. 29 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at the six major Chinese ports grew to 11.70 million tonnes last week, up 70,000 tonnes, Shanghai Metals Market data show.

The increase in port’s inventories is due largely to growing new arrivals at the end of the month, SMM says.

The six ports saw four ships of nickel ore arriving last week, with another four expected this week, according to SMM data.
