Most Trading Nickel Contract Finishes down 1.72% at RMB 93,850/mt (Jun. 26, 2015)

SHFE 1509 nickel started Thursday evening at RMB 94,760/mt and ended at RMB 94,760/mt with the session low at RMB 93,600/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 26 (SMM) – SHFE 1509 nickel started Thursday evening at RMB 94,760/mt and ended at RMB 94,760/mt with the session low at RMB 93,600/mt.

The contract opened at RMB 94,860/mt Friday and moved around RMB 94,000/mt. The price touched an intro-day low of RMB 93,020/mt, to close down 1.72% at RMB 93,850/mt. Positions saw a rise of 1,400 to 222,000 and trading volumes increased 173,000 to 506,000 lots.

SHFE 1509 nickel should fall to test RMB 93,000/mt tonight with LME nickel falling during European and US trading hours.
