Zinc oxide producers are unwilling to do business with small tire producers due to mid-year cash tightness, SMM finds.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 25 (SMM) - Zinc oxide producers are unwilling to do business with small tire producers due to mid-year cash tightness, SMM finds.

Zinc oxide producers also see falling orders from tire and ceramic sectors due to the low-demand season, decreasing their demand for zinc.

Prices for indirect zinc oxide fell to 15,500-15,900 yuan per tonne in tandem with zinc ingot this past week, SMM data show.
