Price CenterDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jun. 23 (SMM) – SHFE 1509 nickel started lower at RMB 94,280/mt during Tuesday morning session and then rose because HSBC’s China manufacturing PMI for June were better than forecast. Later, the metal fell on stronger dollar.
The price moved between RMB 94,100-95,330/mt in the afternoon, to close the day at RMB 95,050/mt, down 0.53%. Trading volumes dropped 157,000 to 158,000 lots whilst positions were up 3,692 to 219,000.
Growth in LME nickel slowed during European and US trading hours. SHFE 1509 nickel should fluctuate at high this evening.
