SHFE 1508 aluminum drifted higher after opening at RMB 12,695/mt on Tuesday, but failed to break though the 10-day moving average.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 23 (SMM) – SHFE 1508 aluminum drifted higher after opening at RMB 12,695/mt on Tuesday, but failed to break though the 10-day moving average. The contract rose to RMB 12,770/mt in the afternoon due to exit of shorts before ending at RMB 12,760/mt. Trading volumes were down 4118 lots to 15,674 lots, and positions were down 5,720 lots to 109,444 lots.
