LONDON (Scrap Register): Global copper Market was in a surplus of 159,000 tons during January to April, according to a data released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).
Global consumption of copper totalled 7.26 million tons in the first four month of 2015 and the figure in the same time of 2014 was 7.38 million tons.
Global production of refined copper totalled 7.42 million tons during January to April, up by 3.8% year-on-year.
Copper market recorded a surplus of 237,000 tons in 2014.
