[Secondary Pb] Squeezed Profits Depress Secondary Lead Production Enthusiasm in Anhui

SHANGHAI, Jun. 18 (SMM) – Production enthusiasm at Chinese secondary lead smelters in Anhui has been hit by narrowed profits, Shanghai Metals Market says.

The low production interest is due mainly to slim profits, SMM says. 

One of seven local smelters in SMM survey already stopped production, four of them expressed strong willingness to suspend production, and the other two took a wait-and-see stance, SMM survey finds.
