Secondary lead prices remained firm at 12,600-12,800 yuan per tonne due to tight supply, SMM learned.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 15 (SMM) – Secondary lead prices remained firm at 12,600-12,800 yuan per tonne due to tight supply, SMM learned.

Lead prices plunged 150 yuan per tonne, while secondary lead price only edged down 25-50 yuan per tonne as of last Friday.

Secondary lead settled as high as 11,900-11,950 yuan per tonne in Jiangxi, with price at 11,700-11,800 yuan per tonne (tax excluded) in Shandong, Anhui, Henan, Hebei and Jiangsu markets.

As such, downstream buyers only purchased on need.
