June 11th, 2015: Scrap Gold and Silver prices drop, Platinum surges on Index

ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 11th June on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of Platinum scrap surged higher over the previous day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 3.12 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 4.00 and $ 4.89 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 2.00 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices jumped higher by $ 5.83 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices declined by $ 0.21 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were marginally down by $ 2.96 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 3.78 and $ 4.63 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 1.89 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 5.83 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $11.59 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.19 per Oz.
