Japanese H2 scrap average prices rise during June second week

The average price of Japanese H2 scrap continued to increase during the second week of June this year.

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap continued to increase during the second week of June this year. The H2 scrap average prices, after remaining unchanged for the initial three weeks in May had started to rise during the last week of the month. This is the third straight week of gains for H2 scrap prices.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 23,999/ton during the second week of June. The prices edged higher by ¥ 367/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 23,412/ton during the first week of June.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 26,000/ton. The average price in Kanto region climbed higher by ¥ 500/ton when compared with the previous week.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 22,220/ton. The average prices in the region increased by ¥ 100/ton when compared with the week before.

The H2 scrap average prices increased in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the second week of June was ¥ 23,750/ton, rising by ¥ 500/ton when compared with the previous week.
