Spot copper quoted at premiums of RMB 40-80/mt to SHFE 1506 copper contract Thursday.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 11 (SMM) – Spot copper quoted at premiums of RMB 40-80/mt to SHFE 1506 copper contract Thursday. Traded prices were RMB 43,810-43,880/mt for standard-quality copper and RMB 43,830-43,910/mt for high-quality copper.

Goods holders left quotations stable early Thursday, but the growing supply of imported copper narrowed spot premiums later. Downstream buyers mainly purchased as needed and traders were fulfilling term contracts.
