US H1 scrap average prices rise to $251.5 per long ton

The US H1 scrap price average prices were at $251.50 per long ton, as on 8th June, 2015.

ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The US H1 scrap price average prices were at $251.50 per long ton, as on 8th June, 2015. The prices remained climbed higher by $16.67 per long ton when compared with the previous week. The scrap prices have witnessed an increase after holding steady for seven weeks in a row.

The average price of US H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was $251.50 per long ton, rising by $16.67 per long ton. The scrap prices had averaged at $234.83 during the week prior to this.

The H1 scrap average price in Pittsburg was $249.50 per long ton. The average price remained witnessed a rise of $15 per long ton when compared with the previous week’s price. In Chicago the prices averaged at $258.50 per long ton. The prices here too rose by $20 per long ton when matched with the previous week. The average price in Philadelphia was $246.50 per long ton. The prices here increased by $15 per long ton when compared with the week before.
