[Zn Ore]Yunnan Jinding Zinc Capitalized on Largest Lead and Zinc Mine in Asia

Yunnan Jinding Zinc Co. has made good use of the Lanping Lead&Zinc Mine in Yunnan, the largest lead&zinc mine in Asia, Xiancity.cn reports.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 11 (SMM) - Yunnan Jinding Zinc Co. has made good use of the Lanping Lead&Zinc Mine in Yunnan, the largest lead&zinc mine in Asia, Xiancity.cn reports.

Yunnan Jinding Zinc Co. completed the 1.30 million-tpy ore processing project in June 2005, with refined zinc capacity of 120,000 tpy. Sales income from the project reached 850 million yuan in only six months after commissioning.

The Lanping Lead&Zinc Mine consumed 3.59 million tonnes of lead and zinc reserves from 1985-2003 before the entering of Jinding Zinc Co., but only realized 746 million yuan in profit.
