China Finished Steel Exports up 7.7% MoM in May

Outbound shipments of China’s finished steel were 9.20 million tonnes in May, up 7.7% month-on-month and 14.0% year-on-year, China Customs data show.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 9 (SMM) – Outbound shipments of China’s finished steel were 9.20 million tonnes in May, up 7.7% month-on-month and 14.0% year-on-year, China Customs data show.

Imports of finished steel imports were 1.05 million tonnes, down 12.5% month-on-month, and 13.9% year-on-year, according to customs data.
