SHANGHAI, Jun. 8 (SMM) – Lead inventories in Guangdong fell by 3,991 tonnes in the week ending June 5, SMM reported.
The remarkable decline was mainly caused by local lead smelters refusing to sell at lows and a shift of goods from Guangdong to Shanghai.
Lead stocks in Shanghai only edged down 987 tonnes, as Nanfang Nonferrous increased supplies and shipment from Guangdong arrived in Shanghai.
