SHANGHAI, Jun. 8 (SMM) - China’s die-cast zinc alloy exports to Europe have been impacted this year on the depreciation of euro, SMM finds.
"Some producers in coastal regions of China witnessed weakening demand from eurozone due to euro depreciation,” SMM zinc analyst says.
Most die-cast zinc alloy producers in China maintained steady production in June. Orders received by large producers are stable and largely unchanged from May’s, according to an SMM survey.
Die-cast zinc alloy prices fell with zinc prices last week. The average prices of Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 declined 340 yuan per tonne to 17,050-17,250 yuan per tonne and 17,350-17,550 yuan per tonne, respectively, SMM data show.
