Japanese H2 scrap average prices continue to rise in June

The average price of Japanese H2 scrap increased slightly during the first week of June this year.

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap increased slightly during the first week of June this year. The H2 scrap average prices, which remained flat during the initial three weeks of the previous month, had started showing signs of rebound during the last week had remained flat during three weeks prior to this.
 
The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 23,623/ton during the first week of June. The prices edged higher by ¥ 211/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 23,412/ton during the fourth week of May.
 
The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 25,500/ton. The average price in Kanto region climbed higher by ¥ 333/ton when compared with the previous week.
 
The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 22,120/ton. The average prices in the region increased by ¥ 300/ton when compared with the week before.
 
The H2 scrap average prices declined in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the first week of June was ¥ 23,250/ton, holding steady when compared with the previous week.
