South China Aluminum Consumption Remains Sluggish, Despite Lower Prices (Jun. 4, 2015)

SHFE 1506 aluminum contract retreated from RMB 13,000/mt on Thursday afternoon, sending spot aluminum in south China down as well.
SHANGHAI, Jun. 4 (SMM) – SHFE 1506 aluminum contract retreated from RMB 13,000/mt on Thursday afternoon, sending spot aluminum in south China down as well. Downstream buyers sat tight, in anticipation of lower prices and due to tight cash. Mainstream traded prices were RMB 12,980-12,990/mt.
