SHFE 1508 Copper Closes down RMB 510/mt (Jun. 1, 2015)

The August-delivery SHFE copper moved around RMB 43,720/mt early on Monday and closed down RMB 510/mt at RMB 43,650/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 1 (SMM) – SHFE 1508 copper contract prices started at RMB 44,010/mt during the night session last Friday and once fell to RMB 43,570/mt. The prices finished the session with a loss of RMB 480/mt at RMB 43,680/mt.

The August-delivery SHFE copper moved around RMB 43,720/mt early on Monday and closed down RMB 510/mt at RMB 43,650/mt. SHFE 1508 copper contract positions increased 12,390 and trading volumes grew 62,648 lots. Technical resistance enhanced.

LME copper prices hovered around USD 6,000/mt Wednesday and closed down USD 37/mt at USD 6,003/mt.
