SHANGHAI, Jun. 1 (SMM) – EMM prices in China will rise to 10,300-10,500 yuan ($) per tonne in June as supply/demand dynamics will turn better, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.
The country’s EMM output might fall to 59,200 tonnes in June from 71,700 tonnes in May, based on SMM’s survey.
While sluggish stainless steel market implies a potential fall in EMM demand, the demand decline will be overshadowed by much sharper output drop, SMM believes.
