China NPI Price to Hold Largely Stable Next Week, SMM Says

Prices of medium and high-grade NPI are expected to hold largely stable, and may inch down in the coming week, Shanghai Metals Market foresees.

SHANGHAI, May 29 (SMM) – Prices of medium and high-grade NPI are expected to hold largely stable, and may inch down in the coming week, Shanghai Metals Market foresees. 

Domestic stainless steel mills will enter a maintenance circle in June, which will give little support to the raw material, SMM’s nickel group says. 

In other news, Shengyang Group, in Linyi, Shandong Province, has resumed production at its partial production line, SMM survey finds.
