Main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange drops further to 630 points

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities dropped further on Monday mainly on lower capesize, panamax and supramax rates.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities dropped further on Monday mainly on lower capesize, panamax and supramax rates.
 
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, down by another 4 points to 630 points on Monday.
 
The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
