Treatment charges (TCs) for imported lead concentrate will grow on oversupply of the resource, Wang Ye predicted at the 2015 SMM Lead&Zinc Summit.

SHANGHAI, May 19 (SMM) – Treatment charges (TCs) for imported lead concentrate will grow on oversupply of the resource, Wang Ye, Vice President of BGRIMM Lilan Consulting, predicted at the 2015 SMM Lead&Zinc Summit held in Chengdu May 13-15.

“Supply of imported lead concentrate has exceeded demand in China’s market, so we believe the TCs for imported concentrate will rise,” Ms. Wang explained.

“The availability of Chinese concentrate remained relatively tight, meaning TCs for the resource may hold steady,” Wang added.
