Camel Group Wins Bid to Supply Battery for Indian Telecom Firm BSNL

Chinese battery leader Camel Group has won a bid to supply valve regulated lead-acid battery for India’s Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

SHANGHAI, May 15 (SMM) – Chinese battery leader Camel Group has won a bid to supply valve regulated lead-acid battery, jointly with India’s Fortius International Private Limited, for India’s Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the company said in a company statement.

According to the statement, BSNL, one of the largest telecom firm in India, will rent its facility in Kharagpur to Camel Group and Fortius for building the lead-acid battery project, and will source 30% of valve regulated lead-acid batteries it used per year from this project in the five-year term of the contract.
