SHANGHAI, May 15 (SMM) - Handan I/S’s new high-strength hot galvanizing technology was recently approved, the website of the People's Government of Hebei Province reported.

The high-strength hot galvanizing technology produces 345-400 MPa products, which meet the demand of SGH440, SGH490, SS37, SS50 and 350GD+Z galvanized plate. Products qualified rate reaches 100%, and are cost-effective.

The Operating Rate of China's Scrap-derived Copper Anode Producers Declined

[SMM Copper Anode market] Due to the narrowing price difference between copper cathode and scrap, the operating rate of China's scrap-derived copper anode producers declined, with production mainly carried out to fulfill long-term contracts.
