China’s copper concentrate imports via Ganqimaodu Port, Inner Mongolia, hit 253,800 tonnes between January 1 and May 11 this year, according to a report of Huanqiu.com.

SHANGHAI, May 14 (SMM) – China’s copper concentrate imports via Ganqimaodu Port, Inner Mongolia, hit 253,800 tonnes between January 1 and May 11 this year, up 69.58% on the year, according to a report of Huanqiu.com.

The port is only 70km from Mongolia’s Oyu Tolgoi mine which has proven copper reverse of 71 million tonnes (Cu content).
