SHANGHAI, May 12 (SMM) – Jinchuan Group started annual maintenance to its copper smelting facilities which is expect to affect 30,000-40,000 tonnes in its copper output, the company said May 11.
The maintenance will last for 32 days, meaning the facilities will remain closed till June 12.
Jinchuan Group is now China’s third largest copper producer and has two copper smelters, one in Gansu’s Jinchang, and the other in Guangxi’s Fangchenggang, with capacity of 1 million tpy.
