Main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange bounces back from recent lows

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities bounced back from recent lows on Friday on higher rates for capesize vessels.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities bounced back from recent lows on Friday on higher rates for capesize vessels.
 
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, up by 1 points to 574 points on Friday.
 
The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
