China Finished Steel Exports up 10.9% in April; Iron Ore Imports Down 0.4%

SHANGHAI, May 11 (SMM) – Outbound shipments of China’s finished steel products were 8.54 million tonnes in April, up 10.9% month-on-month and 13.3% year-on-year. 

Imports of finished steel were 1.20 million tonnes in April, down 0.8% month-on-month, and 7.7% year-on-year. 

Iron ore imports were 80.21 million tonnes, off 0.4% month-on-month and 3.8% year-on-year.
